Florida Market Trends
A dated snapshot of mortgage rates and Florida listing prices, with links to the underlying data.
Sources: Freddie Mac Primary Mortgage Market Survey (September 24, 2026) and Realtor.com median listing-price data via FRED (August 2026, not seasonally adjusted). Checked September 27, 2026. Mortgage rates are national averages, not personal quotes; the listing-price figure is a statewide median asking price, not a sale price.
What this means for you
For buyers: Compare lender quotes using the same loan amount, term, points, and lock period. Use the mortgage calculator to explore payments, then add property taxes, insurance, association fees, and maintenance to your budget. A statewide median listing price does not tell you what a particular home is worth.
For sellers: Compare recent closed sales and competing listings for homes similar to yours in location, size, condition, and property type. Review days on market, price reductions, and concessions locally before setting an asking price. Talk with Diane about the evidence for your neighborhood.
This snapshot combines national mortgage-rate averages and statewide listing data. Miami Beach and other South Florida markets can differ. Use the source links for subsequent releases.
